When Parker woke, he knew something was wrong. It wasn't until he realized that he was padding on four legs down to the bar that he realized there might be a huge problem.

Yipping unhappily, Parker settles near the fire.

"Hello," says Jack, dropping down on the ground beside him and settling cross legged. Jack is good with bodies. Jack knows consciousnesses in bodies.

Jack knows Parker.

Parker growls unhappily.

I knew I should have stayed in Italy.

"Happy April Fools," Jack says, happily, scooping Parker up in his arms and rests his cheek against the top of his head for a second.

"You look lovely."

This is easy for Jack to say. He hasn't been messed around with.

It is not so much a thing with shapes, it is a thing with feeling - and Parker feels like Parker whether or not he is furry and probably rather displeased.

Lethe doesn't laugh (not that she could) but her smile is bright and her fingers are soft behind one ear as she flops down.

She's rather good at scritches though.

Parker looks at her suspiciously. He slides away under her fingers, then comes back.

Still suspicious. He's not a toy.

She holds her hands palm out in acquiescence for a moment, snorting mildly before leaning forward to press a kiss to the tip of his nose.

Is that closer to a normal hello?

She doesn't look at him any different, at any rate. Unless you want to count the angle - it isn't very often that he's smaller than her.

Parker grins. Much more familiar. He twines between her legs and then darts back to a safe distance.

Hey, Lethe.

"Let's me beings with the guesses." That was the ... bat with the green and purple crazy straw, hanging onto the side of the couch with one wingclaw and both feet, the other wingclaw holding onto the straw, "Yooousisn'ts being usually fuzzies either?"

Did we mention that he's very, VERY drunk?

No.

Drolly.

He sniffs at the bat.

Mostly he smelled like booze, probably, it was probably best not to ask where he'd stored it all, since too much more and it was liable to just seep out of him like a sponge.

He sighed, it was a melodramatic sigh, "Ja. Me's eithering. Usuallies I's is likes, all talls and handsomes and gets alls of the groupies and plays the totally brutal metal sounds on the geetuars."

Usually, I'm not a fox.

He makes an odd shuddering motion.
