Lilly's sitting at a table, a mug of coffee at her elbow as usual and some papers scattered in front of her. After her conversation with Miho about adding strippers and the like to the brothel, she's checking out how much expansion the brothel's current revenue can support

*Meg hops up from her seat when she sees the other girl, waving enthusiastically.*

"Meg!"

Lilly hurries over, pulling Meg into a quick fierce hug.

"God, it's been like, forever. Where've you been?"

A week or so can totally be forever. Shut up.

[balletrat]

*Meg hugs her back, tightly.

Rather sheepishly:* It's awfully stupid, actually, it's just I went to the Threshold to finish Ingress' present, and - well, you know how time gets weird - so now I'm just trying to catch up on what I missed.

"I know about the weird time, yeah," Lilly says wryly, letting go of Meg and sitting back down.

"I don't think you missed too much, though. Unless I did too."

[Delia is also nursing a cup of coffee, but she's just people-watching instead of working. Well, until she spies Lilly.]

[a pause, a mental debate if she should go over, and then a shrug as she gets to feet and makes her way over]

Evening, Lilly.

Lilly glances up, and her smile is perfectly friendly if not overly warm.

"Hey, Delia. How goes?"

Pleasantly busy, actually. Yourself?

"The same," Lilly replies, glancing back down at the papers.

"Planning some expansion for the brothel, actually. Among other things."

[awesome_lilly]

Lilly looks up and smiles.

"Hey, Tyrion. Probably not a good idea to mix booze and doing the books, sadly."

[awesome_lilly]

"All of the above?"

Lilly laughs.

"When we started, I had one of my employees doing the books. I'm kinda taking that over again, though. I might hire some part-time help but it's really irresponsible for the head of a business not to keep an eye on the books."

Will double-chocolate brownies with cream cheese swirl help anything?

Well. If they won't, that plate-ful's just going to go to waste, won't it?

And the Ace that accompanies it might be sad. Might. She might consider this a good thing, since it means more for her.

It's hard to tell with Aces.

"Oooh. Brownies."

Yeah, that plateful's not going to waste.

"Ace, did I ever tell you how much I love it when you come bearing chocolate?"

"Probably, but feel free t'keep sayin' it." Ace takes one for herself as she settles into a conviniently nearby chair. "So, whatcha up to?"

"Expanding the brothel a bit," Lilly says, taking a bite of her brownie.

"Adding some more security, strippers, more whores, stuff like that. I'm also looking over the books, I'm kinda taking them over again."
