Daisy just grins, turning around to face her.

"I'd no idea you were here, actually. Place just popped up one day."

"What do you mean you just popped up?" It's a bit angry.

"Apparently," Daisy sounds a smidgen more puzzled now, "the same thing has happened to everyone else I've spoken to, so I figured that was the normal way to do it. Another memo I missed, then?"

She hasn't stopped smiling.

It has proven to be the only way of dealing with George.

Pianos?

Are hard.

Not the playing, though I'm not really a musical kind of guy, but I mean the legs.

Daisy never manages to get to and the pilot, he gave me a blanket, and the tall dark man sang to me in deep rich tones ... because the piano has decided to protest.

With a very loud CLANG.

She blinks.

"... was that a very roundabout way to ask me to stop playing, sir?"

"Trust me, lady. If I wanted you to stop playing, I wouldn't go around smashing my head on your instrument. I'm not that considerate."

"... then may I ask," she intones slowly, "why you did smash your head on it? It's not mine, by the way. Public property."

At some point, Megan wanders away - not too far away - from the family reunion, and over to the piano.

Daisy offers her a smile, but doesn't sway from her lyrics.

The F sharp chord makes itself known -- loudly -- and then Daisy stops.

"I'm Daisy," she says softly. "What's your name?"

Children do not get the same introduction at all. She likes them. Especially girls.
