Everything was good. And the weather was perfect. I wish I wasn't getting surgery Wednesday because otherwise I'd be back there next weekend training for a solo jump. Heh.
I don't think Danny is on your list, but I do believe he would love this as part of his own bucket list, or a re-doing of his bucket list. I think he HAS done a skydive in the past, and I know he was a glider student pilot sometime in the dark past.
As for me, I don't think it's a sign of sanity that I have no inclination to jump out of a plane. It's just I have no interest in doing that! If I think about FLYING in a jet at 550mph, that's enough to give me a rush, and I do that frequently without thinking about it!
When I was a kid I wanted to be a jet pilot. I was in Civil Air Patrol, got to fly around in a C130 Hercules, a RF-4 Phantom, and even the two-seater F-15 one time. I started taking pilot lessons but then couldn't finish up before college. I've always wanted to jump out of a plane so, I think I'm hooked. lol.
It was quite a changing experience. If I can do 200-300 jumps I can then start being an aerial photographer/videographer for jumps. That is a ways off, but it might be a goal to look at in the future.
This is something I want to do one of these days too. I have a pretty big bucket list. Though I could never do it with the flair and panache you bring to the party. ;)
