Today, two friends and I did a float trip down the Saints Jones River. They were in kayaks and I was in my canoe of course. It was a fun enjoyable day. This week has at least been interesting if nothing else. Work has been work but we haven't gotten much done because of rain illness and accidents. Tomorrow it looks like one to two inches of rain. If it rains, I won't be cutting grass but I've a side job that I'd much rather do cause it pays more ( Read more... )

So it was an interesting week. We finally caught up with the cutting after all the rain we've had. Also we had a run in with an agent from the department of ag and a town police officer. Both encounters were easy going and civil ( Read more... )

So yesterday we ended up working eleven hours I had only planned on doing nine but the boss man kept giving us one more job to do.

Today, we worked a full day, though no grass cutting for us. Far too much rain this week to cut anything. So we spent the day doing real landscaping work, hedge and bush trimming, mulching and planting flowers, though the weeding was rough ( Read more... )

Today, I finished with the side job a had dealing with the two downed trees. Most of the work left was chipping the stuff that was to small to use as fire wood.
