Everything including the kitchen sink

*yawns* Good morning!

Was up in New Hampshire for aeternitas2011 this past weekend. It was a small con, and alas - I was the lone Remus/Sirius shipper (Represent!) amongst a sea of Snarry, (okay, my fab roomie, reddwarfer, ships them both) but it was a lot of fun! The con hotel was great and the lake was beautiful, and us folk in the West rooms had very few problems ( Read more... )

doctor who, politics, remix, sad & demented but social, compulsive spending, ohhh! bama!, world news, spacey goodness, aeternitas_2011, fandom meetups, vacation:all i ever wanted

SO much fun. It was great to hang out with you and see the Work In Progress :)))

I should have paid more attention at the astronomy lesson. I'm still a little fuzzy on where Draco is...

I really thought the con was well organized (okay, the internet, but still!) and it was a nice size. And the people in the town were so nice.

I really was! I'd have liked to go to at least some of the programming, but I did go to the ball, and I was social and hung out, and wasn't sequestered in my room by myself, so that's something. AND I got a shiny new notebook! :-P

Hee! If you look at the big dipper upside down, (which is how it appears now when you look at it to the north) Draco is right below (south of) the tail stars of the handle. (And one of its stars is Rastaban! :-P) It's supposed to be a dragon, and well, it is kind of curvy, but man, I want to know what those Greeks were smoking when they came up with the constellations! Don't think I didn't notice the way your word count doubled over the course of the week!

Also, I feel like I owe you an email, but the remix haze has swallowed everything, so if I was supposed to respond and I didn't, I apologize! Now that it's done, hopefully I will be able to think again.

Hahahahahahahaha! YOU HAVE EYES EVERYWHERE!!! The first half was easy. The second half gave me fits! (I probably should have chosen an easier fic, but it was too good an opportunity to pass up, and I like a challenge!) I was so afraid of the big bad pokey stick that I bought a netbook!!! :-P

Do you? LOL I can't even remember. Oh! About Mousa coming to town for the JYJ concert in a couple weeks and dinner or something on the 21st! We'll chat about that later.

On another note, some of us are going out to dinner tonight in NYC - Alisanne and her friend lily's eyes are in town to see Dan's show, so Beth, Hally and I are meeting them for dinner (Thai!) at 5:30. (9th and 51st) Do you want to join us?

Okay, maybe Thai food isn't the best thing for the "blurgh", but if you're feeling better later... ♥

Heh. Thanks. I think tonight I'm just going to go home and collapse on the couch, but I should be able to do dinner on 5/21. *g*

And while I didn't really interact with people much this year, I did keep an eye on the submissions, as always. *g*

Thanks for the con report. It's not as good as being there, but I'm having a lot of vicarious pleasure in it. Glad you had a good time. The small cons sound as if they'd be the most fun; you'd actually have a chance to meet everyone. It did sound like a bit of Snarry heaven (the fen even had a separate meeting room, I heard)...except that I'm not much of a Snarry-ite ( ... )

I was surrounded by Snarry!! Hee! Yes, Delta and Alisanne and co. had the Snarry Suite, but I didn't make it over there because ... I was rewriting my remix! On my shiny new netbook! :-P ( ... )

My reaction to the news of his death was 'WTF, Pakistan' O.o Followed by 'Good work, whomever carried out the mission, for such a precise job with so few civilian casualities'

And on a totally different note, your mood theme cracks me :D
