Hard to believe that it's been THREE YEARS since Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was released. Damn - where has the time gone?

I think that scene of Harry walking into the forest accompanied by the Marauders is one of the ones I'm most looking forward to seeing on film. I anticipate bawling my eyes out.

Okay, the Harry/Draco broom ride is also up there. Waaaay up there. ;-)

I'm thinking about Aeternitas. It sounds like it could really be a lot of fun, if enough slashers decide to go!

Me too! I really hope they got all the actors back for it. I haven't been following any movie news, I haven't even seen the trailer yet (though I did download it) or too many pics, except for the few people on my flist posted. It's not that I'm worried about spoilers, but since I already know exactly what the movie is about anyway, I just prefer to be surprised.

Oh yes! The rescue, and then later when Ron clocks him! BWAH! (Ok, that last might not exactly be a fave moment for H/D shippers... :-P)

I'm like 90% sure I'm going. Just have to make sure that a few others are coming along so I don't end up sharing a room with just myself. :-P

OMG I used to live a half hour away from Laconia. Um, Laconia was the big town. LOL I haven't been back in 25 years but it was soooooo gorgeous.

Did you really? It's in an area of NH I'm not all that familiar with, but it looks gorgeous. I'm actually looking at the driving directions and thinking I'll avoid the 'near Boston' (via 495 to 93 through Manchester) route, and take 91 up to Route 10 and go through Keene to Route 9-89-4/93 instead. (Yes, already planning my route and I haven't even registered yet. :-P)

Yep! Plus it's during the school year, so perhaps that will deter a lot of the really young WRock crowd. Maybe.

Three years? I mean, I knew it's been three years but it hadn't registered as. THREE. YEARS. Er, if that makes sense. But I swear my first six months in fandom lasted much longer than the last three years. Why does time fly SO FAST???

But anyway! I really wanted to say I've been enjoying your HP meme posts a lot. :-)

I know! I still remember going at midnight to get my book! :-P And all the whinging about the epilogue all over LJ when it leaked. (I didn't peek at spoilers myself.) I'm obviously in the fandom minority, but I loved DH, including the camping scenes, I didn't mind that Lupin - one of my fave characters, mind - died off screen and didn't get a *cue drumroll* big dramatic death scene, and I adored the epilogue. She wrote it the way she wanted to, which is how it should be. (It's not like I ask fandom for its opinion and direction about the fanfic I write before I write it. :-P)

It really has gone fast. Too fast. Woe.
