Mind you the cynical old Red in me is expecting things to to go sideways, but I would hope things actually get better no matter who is President. I'm with Lenin, who always thought that "the worse, the better" was an infantile ultraleftist slogan. What we really need in North America and the world is a revolution of rising expectations.
(I left because I loved the place and the people too much.)
