The best time to take photos of the Louvre Museum is at night. No tourists, no double-decker buses blocking your view and surprisingly, the soft glow from the street lamps allows you to appreciate the Louvre's architecture moreso than under the harsh glare of the sun during daytime ( Read more... )

I was in London during the 9/11 terrorist attacks.It was awful. I feel the same sadness and horror today, following a similar tragedy unfold in a city I lived in for three years and eventually, learnt to love.
