I'm so mixed about there being a S6, with it potentially becoming Smallville 2.0 with its shit quality and despairing pit where the actors never crawl out from to do anything else ever again. Which is exaggeration, because it'll never be that bad, S6 has to be the end, but oh god, please let it be a post-apocalyptic (non-meta) world setting littered with other awesome, relevant (female) characters. But in any event, more of the boys is never a bad thing. :)
Three years ago I made
this entry (lol, three years, shit, I do nothing with this journal) on the women of SPN. In light of recently rewatching 5x10, I wanted to pick up where I left off midway through S2.
I ☆'d the ladies who I thought might have room to come back (i.e. hunters, romantic interests that have been established already in a more weighty, for the show, context, etc.).
Susan Thompson: Playthings 2x11 (Annie Wersching)
w/ bonus Jack Bauer! ♥
Molly NcNamara: Roadkill 2x16 (Tricia Helfer)
Oh lawd, yes, Six forever.
Madison: Heart 2x17 Heart (Emmanuelle Vaugier)
Carmen Porter: What Is and What Should Never Be 2x20 (Michelle Borth) ☆
Incidentally, film.com proclaimed her "the nakedest person in TV history". :)
Lily: All Hell Breaks Loose 2x21 (Jessica Harmon)
She looks so much like a certain cleaned-up chav.
Tamara: The Magnificent Seven 3x01 (Caroline Chikezie) ☆
Sasha!! She is my top pick for female to be brought back, pretty please.
Lisa Braeden: The Kids Are Alright 3x02 (Cindy Sampson) ☆
Casey: Sin City 3x04 (Sasha Barrese)
New addition: Don't know how I forgot her the first time around!
Crossroad Demon: Bedtime Stories 3x05 (Sandra McCoy)
♥_♥
Lucy: Fresh Blood 3x07 (Mercedes McNab)
Tammi: Malleus Maleficarum 3x09 (Marisa Ramirez)
Nancy Fitzgerald: Jus In Bello 3x12 (Aimee Garcia)
Maggie Zeddmore: Ghostfacers 3x13 (Brittany Ishibashi)
Love the string of ethnic cuties here.
Pamela Barnes: Lazarus Rising 4x01, Heaven and Hell 4x10, Death Takes a Holiday 4x15 (Traci Dinwiddie)
Christ, that's hot.
Young Mary Campbell: In the Beginning 4x03 (Amy Gumenick)
She looks spot on for young Mary. So much like a younger Samantha Smith crossed with Julie Benz. And awfully like Candice, too (lol, you Winchesters), but I swear not all blondes look alike to me!
Michelle Montgomery: Metamorphosis 4x04 (Joanne Kelly)
Jamie: Monster Movie 4x05 (Melinda Sward)
Amanda Heckerling: After School Special 4x13 (Candice Accola) ☆
Caroline!
Dr. Cara Roberts: Sex and Violence 4x14 (Maite Schwartz)
Lilith: The Monster at the End of This Book 4x18, Lucifer Rising 4x22 (Katherine Boecher)
She looks like a dead ringer for Jaime King, dang.
Meg 2.0: Sympathy for the Devil 5x01, Abandon All Hope 5x10 (Rachel Miner)
I missed the fact that she's Macaulay's ex-wife, lol. Also apparently a scientologist but not a suicide girl. The more you know.
Risa: The End 5x04 (Lexa Doig) ☆
Lia: The Curious Case of Dean Winchester 5x07 (Pascale Hutton)
And never forget:
Ruby (Katie Cassidy)
Bela Talbot (Lauren Cohan)
Ruby 2.0 (Genevieve Cortese)
Anna (Julie McNiven)
Premature, but it's only a matter of time. And I do love this b&w shot of her.
Jessica Moore (Adrianne Palicki)
Less screen time than the others, but 4 episode appearances practically make you a vet on SPN, plus AP (especially this photo) is hot like burning.
Ellen Harvelle (Samantha Ferris)
&
Jo Harvelle (Alona Tal)
BRB, bawling forever.
I got carried away at the end there, just a little bit. Still bitter. Why bring them back for only two episodes and not prolong things a bit? If only just for the impact when they inevitably do have to go, but not without lots more screen time, first. I'm sure they wouldn't have been killed yet if S6 was a go sooner, dammit. :'(
So many genre girls. ♥ I wish SPN would nab more Jossverse ladies. I mean if VD got Gina Torres.
