Absolutely adore your Sirius in this. "You'd be amazed what I can do now I"m not alive to do it." LOL

This is such a great fic. I think it proves why angst and humor go hand in hand, because it keeps it from being too "woe is me" while still being completely honest and real about the hard issues Remus faces.

Well done.

I've always liked the juxstaposition of angst and humor. Perhaps that's why I sought to do a humerous HBP pic in the first place. To me the two mixed gener's provide a realistic feel.

I'm glad you liked this. As always I realy appreciate your opinion

You've got some great angry and defensive banter going on between the pair of them here. Sometimes Sirius seemed just like Remus' conscience speaking out loud, lol. And I really liked the line where Remus wonders exactly which war Sirius is talking about - that was very poignant. As was Tonks' appearance at the end, where I was willing the Noble One to do something rash.

One thing, I wasn't sure if you realised or meant to do it like that, but at the start it did swap a couple of times from referring to Remus as Remus one line and then switched to Lupin in another?

I very much hope you do continue with a sequel or some kind of follow-up. I really enjoyed this and Sirius clearly needs to kick his backside a bit more! :)

I am very seriously considering doing a follow up piece, or a series of follow up peices to this which go from the end of book six into book seven, and, perhaps deal with several characters Remus has lost comming back to haunt his dreams.

As for the Remus/Lupin lines...the two names are interchanged quite a bit in my mind because, in the books he's always reffered to as Lupin. However, I do realize that in a fic from his point of view, he would call himself Remus. So...yes, thank you for pointing it out and I might very well change it.

Thanks again for reviewing and I'm very glad you liked it.

I liked this portrayal of Sirius -- I'm sure he'd have lit into HBP Remus just this way, with a mixture of protectiveness toward Tonks and Marauder pride. I also liked the way their youthful appearance makes the two wars blur together for Remus.

Poor Tonks, at the end -- you show her with a little bit of hope, which makes the disappointment that follows that much sadder.

I love Sirius' dialog and his impromptu bylaw spiel. Awesome. :) Poor Tonks, with the angsty bit at the end... Still, well done!
