Really liked the way you set up the comparison between Tonks's relationship and her mother's, with both of them missing their husbands. It was also good to see that as sad (and hormonal) as Tonks is, her Auror instincts are still sharp.

I'm glad it was Harry's words that made Remus change his mind. It does make me curious about the timeline a little...maybe it took a while for Harry's words to really sink in? I could definitely see that happening.

That last scene is very sweet -- they've still got things to work out between them, but their love for each other is evident too. Perfect for Christmas morning. :)

I really liked the opening of this, the idea of whether it's worse to celebrate in spite of their absence, or not to do so, and I really liked the parallel between Andromeda and Tonks, the sense of inner strength you gave to both of them. I really liked the section with Remus, too, Tonks saying she preferred him tied to a chair - maybe she should make it a regular thing, to prevent him running off again ;).

Like the other reviewers, I liked the start of this with the parallels between Andromeda and Tonks. I enjoyed the humour you got into this to relieve the seriousness of the situation - you've made me keen to read R/T's first date if they ended up having to obliviate Muggle policemen!
