Thank you so much, I'm glad YOU liked it.

Yes, I do think it was a catch-22 for Remus and Tonks, no matter what they chose it was right and/or wrong.

You described the dilemma of the situation very well, and it just makes me wish more for a different outcome of the events that follow...

Agh, the heartbreak! How I wish we could have this sort of fics and revel in their bravery of making such decisions, and then get a happy ending?

That out of my system, this is really lovely. There are some really nice turns of phrase throughout this, and a lot of sweetness, and what really stands out to me is that Remus really seems peaceful here, even though he doesn't want to go, he wants to stay with his family. He's finally come to terms with his life and how to make it work and I think this is the perfect setup for how he and Tonks do both come to be lying so peacefully, as if they're sleeping.

The descriptions of Teddy are so great, too -- I love the details that his eyes have been trying to focus on people and he's smiling now. And Tonks saying of course he's good, he has perfect parents, is so her. And so true.

Great work. Even if I am sniffling into my oatmeal now. ;)

I'm not supposed to cry at work - it's not professional. But dangit... I can barely hold back the tears.

Thank you.
