...because I've been busy this week (with things other than work, many of which were fun or useful, so no worries) I'm a few days behind on reading LJ and (to a lesser extent) fi-uh. I have a good shot at catching up tomorrow night if you people don't post too much. ;P

I think maybe more strongly towards London.

Awesome! I didn't have a chance to chime in on the big recommendations post, but for obvious reasons I think London is an excellent choice. I'd love to meet up and show you some of my favorite sights. If you come, I'll have to sell you on a day trip to Cambridge as well - it's 45 minutes from London and has more awesome British history per square foot than most any place around. Also punting on the river and drinking tea in The Orchard are musts. =)

And yeah, Paris is really easy to get to, especially since the new Eurostar terminal at St. Pancras opened a few months ago.

London seems like a great idea. I'd love to go myself one day. I think it's a better idea to split up and do Northern Europe once and then Southern Europe another time. (Spain, Greece, Italy, etc)

Dude, don't get me wrong - London is TEH SHIT. I do recommend it, for sure. Plus, you can easily get to the continent. But yeah, which ever you chose, let me know, cuz I have advice.

And if its London, I have TONS of advice of stuff of the beaten trail that would be awesome...

I will do so! Your positive comments about London were also quite influential. ^_^ We'll be doing our best to figure out the generalities (where we're flying and when) tomorrow. I feel like London/Paris is the most likely possibility at this point, it's the one that feels the most real in my head, if that makes sense.
