Awesome! I didn't have a chance to chime in on the big recommendations post, but for obvious reasons I think London is an excellent choice. I'd love to meet up and show you some of my favorite sights. If you come, I'll have to sell you on a day trip to Cambridge as well - it's 45 minutes from London and has more awesome British history per square foot than most any place around. Also punting on the river and drinking tea in The Orchard are musts. =)
And yeah, Paris is really easy to get to, especially since the new Eurostar terminal at St. Pancras opened a few months ago.
