Damn.. i KNOW i had a copy of "Self Totalled" by the Cosmic Psychos around here somewhere. But i can't find it! And that's precisely what i want to listen to - over the top, short, hard agressive songs that i can slam dance around my bedroom to. D: Oh well. I am making do with Fear Factory and Rollins Band and Not from there and The Crow soundtrack

Metal! \m/ I don't listen to heavy stuff because harsh vocals repulse me, but on the heavier end of music I do enjoy is the Paradise Lost album by Symphony X.

Wow thanks, that is kinda amazing. Really tight and layered. I wish it was more instrumental though, cause the vocals on it annoy me a bit. The "metal vibrato" thing gets to me a bit.

thats probably the heaviest that i listen to, i like a bit hardcore particular bands that are really political and have good lyrics!

hahah nah i dont think youre a yob! cosmic pyschos are cool! and i actually really used to like TISM when i was at school! i listen to heaps of stuff mostly rockabilly and psychobilly (which can be pretty heavy actually.. fireballs, mad sin...) but i do have a thing for political hardcore as well! my music taste is kinda weird/electic... i have been listening to heaps of dolly parton and johnny cash and beach boys and elvis as well lately!

Oh wow, thanks so much! :D Its great to hear about what other ppl are listening to. I only got to this message tonight so i've only had time to briefly check out Kreator and Arch Enemy... was really impressed by Angela Gossows vocals, have to say. Really great to see women in metal. :)

Ohh, i've heard of Carpathian Forest... prolly on Full Metal Racket or something. I don't mind a bit of super-heavy death metal, actually - it helps that i can never make out what the lyrics are, what with the all the growling and screaming! XD
