Post apocalyptic reunion

So what I remember was that something triggered the apocalypse and the world is in ruin. Arthur and citizens are protected in a cave because of Merlin's magic.

Merlin doesnt feel like he can return and spends his days scouting for food to send back to Arthur.

Thats about all I remember. Please help me find it.
