I think one of them is a fic with the word "Blue" in the title. Arthur is a mob guy who has an odd, protective relationship with Merlin.

Oooh, I think I've seen that one recently - was it a series of fics? An Ocean Blue, maybe? It's on my to-read list so IDK if the details match up. You could also try some of the fics in the Mob Boss Arthur tag - one of them has Cafe-worker Merlin that might fit OP's description.
