If you ever have outta' town guests come to Seattle, take 'em on the Undergound Tour. I went w/ Melanie yesterday - let's be more accurate, I was dragged by Melanie yesterday - and the tour was much more interesting than I expected!

I remember this guy always had mouthwash on his breath. Even an 11 year old could pick up that he was drinking on the job. Plus, I thought he was creepy and tried too hard to be friends with us.

Well, the sunshine's over. Kaput. It's hard not to feel down with this cold Seattle rain, so I try to stay grateful for the rays I caught at the beach just today. When I first transitioned from corporate life to theatre education, conversations with friends and family were filled with anecdotes and impersonations of hilarious kids I interacted with by day. I just came from my bank branch to talk to a financial advisor. Apparently a mutual fund investment I made 5 years ago has dropped over 50%. I gots to figure out how to sell my SAAB. Why do I feel so paralyzed about letting it go? It's been sitting in my driveway for almost one year because I can't let go of it. ...on Friday night I dreamed I was pregnant. I was happy to be carrying a growing bundle in me, but I started to feel overwhelmed and afraid once people started giving me gifts for taking care of the child (bottles, soft cloths, diaper pins).
