More Dead Man's Chest goodness and spoileryness! Haven't said anything in awhile... my CD has kept me entertained (until I found out it's scratched...gotta go see if I can return it!), lol.

And in not too much time I'm going to quit cutting the spoilers, so go watch the freakin' movie already!

I really enjoyed your analysis of DMC. I find it interesting that the movie has received criticism for failing to be just like CotBP, yet a movie like SUPERMAN RETURNS (which is pretty good, by the way), is receiving acclaim for being more or less a remake of the 1978 film. It's odd that familiarity is being celebrated, but originality is being castigated.

Oh, thank you! I love being a geek, lol. I totally meant to go see Superman in my Superfunction teeshirt (the calculus superfunction shirts my friends and I made-- yeah, we're weird like that), but I've been too busy unfortunately.

And I love that the people behind the pirates movies incorporate so many different references-- I love learning about the things behind them and how much they might affect certain scenes. (And I have posted SO many personal comments in my journal-- which I saw you already commented on some-- it's ridiculous. My friends have just taken to calling me a pirate.) =^n.n^=
