Tales of Symphonia was ahead of its time in the graphics department, and all the character sprites move completely fluently! There isn't a single awkwardly animated moment in this game at all.
But seriously, I love the story of ToS but I feel like some of the most emotional turning points in the game were marred by awkward graphics like this. AH WELL, THAT'S WHAT MANGA AND THE OVAS ARE FOR.
Well, the first thing hilariously isn't even in the OVA. They skip over Kratos getting hurt and have him immediately injured after the opening credits for fairly Yuan-related reasons. And the second one... Well apparently Kratos is impervious to harm in the OVA as he doesn't faint, but continues to kick Yuan's ass. XD
Or how about the goof that happens when Colette is kidnapped by Rodyle? When the group goes inside the house, and Presea walks up to her father's bed, you can see Colette standing with the rest of the group.
Of course, that's not really animation-related, but it was just something weird that I caught.
