Title: Odd Socks Characters: House/Wilson Rating: PG Spoilers: None Words: approx 700 Summary: Wilson has a cold and is sick on the couch at home. Just a little domestic sick!wilson fluff for the Picture Challenge at sick_wilson
What a delightful domestic picture, if possibly a bit too close to my husband's behavior for full unrestrained amusement. The end line made me imagine House would have offered, instead of gloves, the use of his Tauchsieder.
Yeah, well, a Tauchsiedler is a hot rod you stick into something to make the whole something warmer. So how can one make a whole whining Wilson warm without a boring, limb by limb approach? [I so need a House-f**ks-Wilson icon.]
Wilson held them up, squinting his eyes at them. "No, they're not. This one," he waved the offending article in House's face, "is red with white highlights, this one," more sock waggling, "is white with red highlights. Not a pair. "
House stared at him, a rhinovirus and a handful of meds had turned his partner into some sort of obsessive, sock waggling, nagging, obsessive freak. No, hang on, he'd always been one of those.
Ahhahahaha! This fic is a bit on the fluffy side for my personal taste, but I love their banter and House's silent observations!
Yes, this one is definitely fluffy :) Glad you enjoyed the banter anyway, I think the best part of a House/Wilson relationship would be the endless banter :)
Okay, I'm totally with House on this one: I'd be incredibly irritated by Wilson...and then I'd give in to his every whim because he's just so damned adorable, what with those big, watery, stoned puppy-dog eyes:) Too funny!

LOL - yes I can see House getting fed up with Wilson's whining and suggesting that to him :) I don't think he's getting gloves any time soon anyway :)

Such an adorable description:
Wilson gave a little crooked, half stoned on cold meds, smile.
