We're from different places. Can't expect all supernatural abilities to be the same, I guess.
[Liz thinks on this whole 'bending' thing for a minute. If it existed in her world, she has no doubt that the Bureau would take any benders they could find and try to study them. A repeat of what the did with her, before Hellboy decided to intervene.]
Me? Pfft, noooo, no, no. Katara got that-- she's the bender in our family. And she's really good at it, she's a Waterbender. She outclassed Aang pretty quickly when they found a master!
[Sokka laughs a bit, but it dies down. He misses them, now that he's thinking about them.]
[Sokka grins and rubs the back of his neck-- she definitely knows how to flatter him.]
Yeah, I like to think I'm pretty awesome. But, uh, you know, when one of your best friends can throw rocks, fire, air blasts and water all at once, it's-- it's kiiind of easy to fall into the background.
Still, that comment about falling into the background makes Liz think of Kate. She can't think of all the times she helped the Bureau out, but the world generally likes to focus on the whole "paranormal" aspect of B.P.R.D., rather than "research."]
Windy, lots of buildings and landscapes...stuff like that. [She's not going to describe it any more than that, and she's going to leave out the part where she burned down an entire city block on the same day she killed all those people.
In a place full of strangers, the only person who needs to know about that is Liz.]
I'd say it's all real. In my line of work, things like this happen a lot. [Kind of comes with making a career out of fighting spirits, demons, and demigods.]
[Which is really dumb, if you ask him.]
What about you?

[But Zuko's scars are from someone else...]
You've got the idea, though, but there's Water, Earth and Airbending, too.

You guys come in handy a lot.
[She didn't miss the way his laugh died down. Liz isn't exactly social, but you seem like a sweet kid, Sokka, so she's trying to be nice.]

I know a few people who could relate to that.
...So, what's your name?

I'm Sokka, from the Southern Water Tribe. What about you?

Liz Sherman. From Kansas, originally.

[Besides, most of the cities in his world have very self-explanatory names: Northern Water Tribe, Ba Sing Se, stuff like that.]

[Sounds boring.]
...So, uh, do you think this is all a dream?
[Maybe he really is dreaming, who knows? That annoying guy could be right.]
