"Miss. Adler, please, I'm begging you."
"Don't be rude, Your Highness, I'm texting right now."
['In a bind. Save me and I'll do anything you ask. Maybe. -IA'. Send to Sherlock Holmes. Sent.]

Maybe?
Not enough incentive.
Try again.

[A woman in her particular line of work, offering to do whatever he wanted, well that was certainly something. But the detective wasn't about to make that gamble. It was all or nothing.]

"Y-You know I won't let you out of here until I get you to agree, Miss Adler. I've got g-guards standing outside the door," The girl sniffled and hiccuped.
"Don't insult my intelligence darling, I already know that. What do you say you drink some more tea, calm down, and then we talk like adults?"
Reply
Quite a bind, indeed. She's desperate.]
I'll surprise you.
What's the location?

"That's a good girl. Now eat your scone. And then we'll negotiate."

Some short while later, the alarms would sound and the sprinkler system activated. What a perfect diversion.
Sherlock would be waiting outside, just across the street, watching as the people were all evacuated from the premises. Taking his phone from his pocket and issuing another text.]
Don't get wet.

"Irene, please, don't think I won't stop persisting."
"Of course not dear, but I'd be careful standing out in broad daylight. As I know it, you've got some fans."
[Sure enough, some pedestrians noticed Her Highness immediately and her guards were forced to whisk her away yet again. Irene smirked, spotted her rescuer and strolled across the street where he was waiting and rung out her hair of the last few droplets.]
"Hello darling. Hope I didn't interrupt anything important, but I was just two seconds away from gagging that silly girl and getting myself in trouble. Now, I believe you have a surprise for me?"
Reply
He looks on with a faint smirk as she approaches.]
Didn't get my text? Could have sworn I have you a warning.
[Sherlock had one hand behind his back. Relishing in his own deviousness for a moment until she inquires about his surprise. He brings his arm out, handing her a towel.]
I can't imagine a drowned rat looking any more glamorous then you right now.

"Oh, I received your text. Unlike most of the women in there, I don't mind getting wet in public..." She flicked her gaze to some frozen passersby. "It is a peculiarly humid day anyway, and I wanted to finish my scone." Her gaze refocuses on the detective and she tilted her head with a wry grin. "And I can't imagine anyone looking any more glamorous than I right now."
"How about that surprise then, dear?" She is intrigued as to what Sherlock could possibly ask of her, knowing what little limits she has. He'd want to embarrass her, maybe, but that'd be extremely difficult. He wouldn't ask something so juvenile as for her to admit he's the smarter of the two, and he wouldn't waste this pass on something so petty. Intrigued indeed.

"Let's have dinner."
It's a simple enough request. A bit out of the ordinary for him though, admittedly. He smiles some when he glances back down at her, looking on expectantly. If anyone were to pick up on his subtle disposition it would be her. Amazing woman, she was. Clearly he had some ulterior motive going on in his mind.
"Please."

Either way, Irene certainly couldn't resist the temptation.
"Please."
Irene raises both eyebrows know and her lips curl into a smile.
"The great Sherlock Holmes saying 'please' to a woman? Well now, how could I possibly say no when you're just a step away from begging?" She takes a step closer and stares up at him. "Fine, I'll do dinner. Time and place? And may I ask why, out of everything you could have chosen, why do you choose dinner?"

"Would it be better if I said pretty please?"
There's a smirk. The detective is only teasing of course. Maybe if it had come down to that, he may have muttered the phrase. But she steps in close and it seems that the scent of her perfume hadn't been washed away by the sprinklers as the aroma graces over his senses.
"Tonight. Seven o'clock. The Royale." A personal favorite of his actually. He smiles down at her, reaching a hand up to move away that one stray curl of wet hair from her face. "I have something I want to discuss with you.. privately."
Reply
"Tempting as that is, I'd rather make you say 'pretty please' on my own terms, dear."
She watches as he brushes a bit of her hair away and catches his hand before he can pull it away. "The Royale, then. I look forward to it, Mr. Holmes, that and whatever you feel is important enough to discuss with me."

There's a slight arch of a brow when that gentle yet very fierce hand grabs his and she all of his attention again.
[TIME SKIP?! SAY WHAT?!]
Sherlock had down up only ten minutes prior. Having requested a table. He wouldn't be very gentlemanly and wait for her at the entrance. Instead, he was off at the table sitting alone. Fairly secluded as it was set off towards the back. Every now and then he would glance down to his watch to check the time.

She honestly had no idea what to expect and frankly was thrilled by the thought. It'd been a while since she was on her toes, running ideas through her head as to what someone else could possibly be thinking that when the time finally came she was almost frightened to ask what his surprise was, but at the same time incredibly excited. It was... stimulating, to say the least.
"Well, you've got me here now. Are you going to tease me with wine or move right into the main course?"
