I, uh, don't know how old you/your friends are so I can't really add much, but the people I know are too serious about relationships at this age. They're already imagining marriage and all that stuff. We're in twelfth grade, which I suppose is sorta mature, but honestly, I dislike hearing all the seriousness. I completely agree that a relationship, you should like the person beyond their appearance and you should remain devoted to each other, but not also so you're stuck to each other like glue. There must be some sort of balance?

Ha, maybe I'm just too serious about this. It's just that I don't like this "we're together because it looks good" or "he's nice, but well.. he's also stupid somehow" stuff. I don't meant that everybody should take it so serious, you're right there should be a balance. Maybe I'm too serious about it because I had the luck finding someone finding someone I can really love - and maybe the others often don't have it at this age and so they have those relationships. I think I would think so too if my darling wasn't there. This ends up in entry-length xD

i think maybe sometimes people need to be with the person longer to love them? and maybe some of the girls are afraid ot love because there are some guys out there who treat the girls like crap, and some guys are like that cos there are girls who treat them like crap.

whenever i know im not going to be able to love the guy im dating, i end it. but that's just me..

Some people get impatient, I guess. So they hook up with anyone just for the couple label? I don't know.

I think you should take all your relationships seriously (not just your romantic ones). Not that you'd be stuck like glue, but there should be a measure of love, respect, and camaraderie. I wouldn't want to look back on my youth to find out that my first "love" was only just a fling.
