toryncat says that I should add you to my friends list. I've know in in real life since 1990, so I trust her opinion. If she says I should know someone, she's probably right. :-) We both have our LJ friends only, so it's hard to tell without taking the leap, but I'd love it if you add me and leave me a comment in my LJ so that I can do the same for you.
I was on your flist but seem to have gotten purged :( I'm really bad at noticing when people post "comment to stay on my flist" sorta things, so if I missed a check, sorry about that.
