I left a comment on DevArt, but since I'm an LJ freak, gotta leave one here, too.
YAY you're drawing again!! I was worried when you said you'd quit. You're too good to quit, dammit! :)
And can I hear an "Amen" about Valentine's Day? UGH! I hate that holiday. I don't even WANT my husband to get me anything. It's a waste of money. (If he wants to take time off work so I can write, though, now THAT's love!) We do get the kids little stuffed animals or something, though. Nothing big.
Hehe, I did notice. And, since I'm also a freak, you'll get responses in both places ^^
I really should give it up, but I found some of my unfinished drawings the other day and...God help me...I couldn't stay away. I even started a new pencil/ebony drawing last night. UGH! I can only hope that I'll get disgusted with myself again soon...
Yeah, I don't make Nic get me anything for Valentine's day, either. Of course, I also stipulate that if he oh-so-happens to want to buy me cocolate at this time of year, I won't stop him (as I wouldn't any other day/month/holiday/Tuesday ^^) And there's nothing wrong with getting kids little gifts for Valentine's day; at a young age, it's supposed to be nothing but fun, anyway. It's only when you get older and you start to feel obligated to your partner that it's simply not worth it.
