And yeah, Pan's Laby wouldn't really be your thing I think. It's more about "Fascism BAD, do the right thing!" than cute fantasyness, pretty though Pan may be. ;) The design on that faun... WOW. And glad we missed it then. Ellen is awesome, but award shows tend to bore the hell out of us otherwise anywhos. I'd rather catch the highlights later. :)

Well, Pan's won for 3 of the 4 it was nominated for, so that's pretty good. The really sad thing is that if you only changed it's country of origin (meaning, if it was an american movie) it probably would've been nominated for twice as many, and I'd be willing to bet among those'd be best picture, director, and screenplay. Sad : ( But I'm glad it won as many as it did - it deserved it. Plus it's not often you have a foreign film that's even nominated for something as big as cinematography. So yay! : D

And I'm glad Daphne's doing better. Give her ear rubs for me : )

lol! Yes, as one does. ;D

That's very true about being nominated for twice as many if it had been American, but it still did quite well all things considered! And deservedly so! :)

And consider her ears rubbed! :D
