Are you planning to see the show or do the autograph line out back because that would make a difference?
I would say two hours is an absolute minimum for an RPattz or an Orlando Bloom or anyone currently playing James Bond. But earlier than that is better.
Given the energy and enthusiasm of the Twilight/RPattz fandom, the warm weather, and the fact that Kimmel overbooks it's smallish theater, two hours is not a bad recommendation. Even two and a half would not be out of hand. (I'd say go much earlier if you were waiting for an autograph out back.)
If you arrive early and there is no one waiting, you can always window shop and check back in twenty minutes or a half an hour. It's really up to your tolerance for that sort of waiting and how badly you want to assure your seat.
Oh, and when I say waiting, it might not be in a line. Before official line formation, people hang around outside or in the neighborhood and check back. So it's a good idea to talk to people, ask if they're waiting, how many people are around, etc.
The fuck? That PSA seriously made my brain hurt. It doesn't even make any sense. Way to take advantage of what could have been a good platform by ruining it with pointless misdirected humor y'all. And yes exactly, real men don't buy any children and act like decent people with actual morals.
I heartily agree with everything in this post, even the stuff about your apartment, which I have never even seen, because due to the level of indignation with which you write about it, I know it must be true. :P
And yeah... Water for Elephants hasn't even come out and I'm already over it.
