Bast's Eternal Catnip Fields are right next to Valhalla (and every other afterlife-place; the topology doesn't have to make sense in the Otherworld). Curio will always have as much catnip as he wants, without ever having a "hangover". There are both shady places and sunny places for cat-napping, as the whim strikes. There are things to chase and pounce upon, with no harm to anything, ever. There are laps if desired, and pettins on demand, and whatever snacks might delight a faithful feline. And then it's back to pestering the warriors for table scraps... and another visit to the petrified forest.

As long as anyone (human or otherwise) is remembered with love, they are not really gone. And, of course, no living thing is ever really gone; matter and energy cannot be destroyed, only transformed, and what we think of as the "soul" or "personality" is a pattern of energy. That energy is released when the physical container ceases to function... and the pattern just keeps expanding out into the Universe. And Love Itself is a form of energy ( ... )

I am so sorry for your loss. Although you and Curio had only two years together, I know they were years full of love.
