Hello to anyone who is reading this! I'm doing a paper on Supernatural for school, and part of it involves fandom and the reasons why the show is a cult success. I haven't watched SPN since early season 3 but I have quite a few SPN fans on my flist. Mind if I linked them to this post?

Someone once said that SPN was like XFiles little sister, dressed up in trashier clothes and gaudy makeup. In terms of individual monsters, XFiles was much scarier. But I actually think that SPN has far surpassed XF in terms of the mytharc -- SPN makes more sense seems to Matter ( ... )

Are you still working on this paper? I meant to respond to this much sooner but got lost and tied up in my own school things (which also, in fact, involve writing about SPN and fandom! Great, isn't it?). Let me know if you're still looking for input and I'll attempt to put some thinky thoughts into some sort of sensible order...
