Awww, thanks hon! I'm amazed that I got something done by deadline, and the typos weren't too overwhelming. *g*

Loved this, it's a bit of a different take on the "peace" genre, and very well done! And of course they don't leave anyone behind!

Nope! Those boys are going to mount up an expedition, and save everyone they can. They are awesome!

Oh man, yes. This is fantastic-- what a wonderful fusion, completely believable reactions from John and Rodney. The outsider PoV worked so well-- all these wonderful observations about the two of them and their relationship, so much backstory filled in through offhand mentions and little details. Plus we get both of the guys being competent and take-charge; I love that you mentioned the first-year-of-Atlantis contingency plans functioning as a basis for their anti-zed plan. Of course they would have more practical preparation for the apocalypse than almost anyone else on the planet!

I'm utterly intrigued by this fusion, and really, really want to see more-- though of course, it's wonderfully contained as it is. It's just a testament to the world you've created that I want more!

I enjoyed the take on "peace" & "tooth & claw" as well. It's a moment & place of peace within the war raging all around them, and that's absolutely what John and Rodney are to each other.

I love outsider stories, and I really wanted to play with the WWZ format of interview, ten years after the main event. Plus I'd never done zombies before, so this was all to the good. I'm glad you liked it. Thanks!

Wow. This was just great. If you ever want to expand on it, I'd be first in line to read it, but it certainly stands nicely as it is.

Thanks. Things are kinda crazy with me, so there are no sequels planned, but I'd love to see someone else run with it.

Cool. Don't know the part it was 'fused' to, but, hey, zombies. They would so be able to handle a little zombie infestation.

The book is World War Z, and it is awesome. It is done in an interview format, 10 years after the zombies first started to appear, and it weaves together slices of life/vignettes from all over the world to show what happened. So I just had to try my hand at it. Thanks!
