Every night there has been someone saying the singer of Circa Survive sounds like he's on helium. I've never checked them and that makes me want to and not want to at the same time. xD

Changing the subject, I hope they're not as strict as last night about videos/pics...

Wow - I just listened to a vid of them and thought it was a girl with a high-pitched voice singing - but no! Manly man!

I checked a few videos but the music bored me right away (I'm very easily bored xD), couldn't stand to listen much. But yeah, he has kind of a strange voice.

Was there a special reason MCR didn't allow cameras last night? Were they filming for another video? Venues usually only enforce rules at the request of artists.

From what we've seen so far, it does seem to depend on some venues, because it only happened a few times and there was no filming or anything special involved. No one has reported anything about last night either. I think it's a general rule (which might come from the band management) that only some venues care to really enforce.

it wasn't MCR's specific request. It was the venue's management that strictly enforces that general rule. They were hyper about it but I talked to some local fans in line and they said the management at that particular venue is always hypervigilant like that for big selling shows. Didn't know why exactly. What I thought was interesting was that during the concert, the bartenders and staff tended to look the other way, but when the manager came down to collect money from the different bars and help restock (at this point the concert was 3/4ths over), he freaked out and started ordering his staff to either take the camera phones or escort the kids taking video out. but the floor was so jammed packed with people, that most everyone with a camera or phone out was warned in time and stuck them in their pocket before the staff was able to wade thru the crowd to reach them. i saw a few people were toss for camera use tho, which made me sad for them and not risk taking my phone out again.
