Why have you decided to speculate about this word? Our president has invented interesting interpretation of word prostitute - the ladies with low social responsibility and I am thinking, why their social responsibility considered low when they are working like social workers constantly in danger, without any guarantees, paying to police to criminals, prostitutes are instead like sponge sucking all the shit the society could produce and earning for their work paper more useless in future than the toilet one. Let's look on politics. There are the term - political prostitute and I guess it is rather nearly all politics should lie and change their way of thinking every moment the wind change its way, it is a matter of their profession... So, yes the simple words have so many meanings as our society futures could show.
I don't know - I simply stumbled over it during one of the past nights... And found, it may be a topic I can ramble about, even if it's rather unusual for the section I cover usually.
I think it may become noticeable why I gave it a chance - the term "slut" is very much linked to sexual behavior nowadays, lesser to the other meaning of just "doing one's job not properly". Even though this is somewhat unjustified - simply because: what causes the bigger damage? Humans fucking each other like apes (as long as they take care and use contraception) - or people who are sloppy at their jobs? I think the latter creates the bigger problem.
Oh man, I love how you wandered through this word and brought it back to things like married culture and things like preventing the spread of disease to just one family/person.
I loathe the word "slut" to describe anything sexual, because I feel it's a deragotory term made up just to shame women who like sex (or even look like they might have sex), but there IS a such thing as "political sluttery".
The kind of shameless whoring, you scratch my back I'll scratch yours, utterly obviously surface of trading-favors just to enrich themselves while screwing over everyone else.....
