February's over - and now here it comes, the big frosty days with double-digit numbers up to twenty under zero degrees Celsius... While before it had trouble to get cold at all and drop some snow that lasted for a few days ( Read more... )

We have here also the extremely cold for this dates temperatures, I don't know what to say is it a good thing to witness or a bad one - nowadays all seems so fast changing that I couldn't get used to it but anyway it is strange that living here all my life I am feeling so cold these days...

Well, if you spend a longer time outside, it bites pretty much in the lungs while breating.
It's not so common for the area here to make it to twenty degrees under point zero in the mountain areas of the country. Half of that is more like the standard.
The last time seen something like that was, as mentioned, if you ask my memory, in the winter from 2005 to 2006 (I think it already was in 2006 specifically). And, it wasn't very comfortable either.

Only strange thing now is: The cold is there everywhere, but there doesn't need to be snow too. There are also areas which have no snow lying round town. Think it's more the areas close to the North and the Baltic Sea which have due to the sea letting rainfall being produced. Inland, they can be dry in that.

The same here - there is no much snow but extremely high humidity and it makes the things worse - brrr...

Sorry, I was working all week. Did not answer any comments, just didn't have time.

It's the same here. And it is going to snow again tomorrow. I want spring. I like the sun though it is much brighter and warmer than in winter. So, no worries, spring is coming. Eventually.

Only thing that really is strange mentally with all that cold and snow is you don't really got it on your tab that in a month there's going to be Easter (!). Everywhere it's cold, some areas have snow, some don't, but it really is no weather that indicates a spring fest. It's really, really strange...

Oh, yeah, this thing is coming. Another commercial holiday sold as religious. The Orthodox one is later than the Catholic though. I am honestly not sure when it is.

Ah, yes, I know.
I think Easter's gonna be a little stress again...
Not because of purchasing anything, more because of the food fest.
Preparing that is usually a bit more effortful than at other times.
