Energy diversity

...One thing that all people being tempted with electromobility need to reconsider: The age where one general technology can be used all over the planet is over. There are too many people who are in need of using an automated vehicle in any kind - and whether this is fueled by fossil energy sources or electricity or even water, it doesn't change ( Read more... )

Well, is it me or solar batteries that are available nowadays are extremely inefficient nowadays: take million years to charge and hold very little energy plus when they are done, disposing them is extremely harmful for the environment? So this needs work under normal circumstances but what we have some monopolies.

Otherwise, it is simple: new types of energy are not as profitable as cheap fuel got from middle east as a result of imperialistic expansion.

As far as I know, those batteries for electric cars are JUST like that.
If you want them full, you've gotta charge them wherever your vehicle takes a longer break to stand around. But that makes rechargeable batteries go broken too - it's nothing else than with a small one you can put into a remote control or so.
Anything in batteries that last for longer distances and for longer times stil are experimental work. Nothing that's ripe for serial production.
Not even talking about bigger things like airplanes and such...
For rockets there may be the experimental coil technology (from "coil gun"), which also is also highly experimental, if they ever already shot one up into space by this method.

So, all these talks, I can't wait to see those electric cars. I read they didn't even test the assembly line just made a computer simulation. And needless to say about the way they produce the batteries: in the sweatshops.

If they'd just work like some well-educated, well-trained and well-thought-out German engineer from the beginning of the last century, then I wouldn't mind about if that shit works - 'cause these were perfectionists in their subjects about offering a product or invention that is flawless. Before none of that was secured, they didn't let it go anywhere out of their workshop and lab.

But these who invent this stuff, first they're people who want to make money, second they're not inventors, they're dreamers, and third, they want to become famous and successful.
All none of those ingredients which real tools or "helpers" to mankind or the environment are made of.

Even I can sing a song about what makes out the good kind of "I try something new which I didn't before", which those seemingly often haven't even heard of.
