This is so true. It is materialistic philosophy: all knowledge is accumulated and transferred frjm generation to generation and every new generation adds and develops it further. Now when education system is poor, they seem to teach kids to invent wheel all over again. Oh great, you did it except you won't go too far with it.

It isn't only valid for technical knowledge.
Think about what you and me often had. The fall of communism being different than most Westerners are getting told.
I am not a fighter for that system, but what I'm maybe one for is for truth, for telling things as they are or were. To not believe in lies and only live lies. And, to maybe also get a little step further because of the lessons you can draw from it.
This doesn't work if people totally have the wrong image in their heads about the issue. Additionally... say, I have my problem with mankind's stupidity and mankind's snobbishness. Mankind judging over things they have no idea about, and everyone pointing at this behavior gets treated like he's retarded or dumb. His mouth gets shot and he gets told it's all a fucking fantasy in his head.
This wisenheimery gets me going - somehow.
