I'd rather ask this this government because coming around the corner like that all of a sudden.
It definitely speaks completely against the usual mantra "all is okay here, we got no natural predators waiting for us, the wealth is never gonna end - you are an evil pessimist if you don't believe in this!". (I speak this mockingly, just for the record.)
