Well you are still young in terms of being a vampire. For what it is worth I am probably more saturated in blood then you are. Though unlike Divia I'm not running about in euphoria over it.

To be covered in blood after a battle is one thing, but not be able to wash it when you are idling around a flat, staining the tapestry is another matter completely.

I've seen quite a bit in my life to to react extreme one way or another. I'm rather of the opinion that the City Gods want extreme reactions when they place these types of curses on us. I rather not give them what they want.
