Nightfall 11

Interesting. This curse is rather telling in general. The way one reacts when presented with the sins of the past can speak volumes for one's mindset. I know that I would be covered in blood even if I were human. I fought many battles and killed many people. It was the nature of war and I wholeheartedly accepted it. Now killing is merely a part of ( Read more... )

I think- No, I know that it would bother me less if I were human.

Well you are still young in terms of being a vampire. For what it is worth I am probably more saturated in blood then you are. Though unlike Divia I'm not running about in euphoria over it.

More saturated loses its relevance after a point, I think. Unless you're actually carrying a full pond about with you.

It just makes it difficult to think.

Carry a pond no, but I am making quite a mess today. I rather hope the City will be so kind to clean up the puddles I am leaving about.

For you it makes it difficult. I am thinking rather clearly. Perhaps we need to schedule you an other session?

To be covered in blood after a battle is one thing, but not be able to wash it when you are idling around a flat, staining the tapestry is another matter completely.

It is messy but considering some of the other messy curses that have plagued the City I can hardly see this as being any worse.

Tailored suits aren't easy to replace.

True, but they still can be replaced. Besides it is only the one suit is it not?

They are fools if their sins do not matter until they are faced with physical reminders of them.

I rather agree with that sentiment for those who are tormented by the blood they are wearing. There are others who are just irritated by the inconvience it presents them.

So you were indeed spared from today's curse correct?

Unfortunately. It would please me to bathe in the blood of my enemies once more. Perhaps even such a small remnant of my kingdom is denied to me.

Well, umm.. it's good to see someone who's rather neutral about it! Most are either horrified or ecstatic..

I've seen quite a bit in my life to to react extreme one way or another. I'm rather of the opinion that the City Gods want extreme reactions when they place these types of curses on us. I rather not give them what they want.
