Catchup Roundup, Case 2: Turnabout Reunion and Case 3: Turnabout Big Top!

I might be almost on my way towards catching up! Probably I'll get through this thing! Maybe not... But at least I have something to say. And plus I can get through a couple of the shorter cases in 3 in one day, I'm sure. Maybe I'll be able to do this...? OH WELL

ON TO THE MADNESS )

As for me, I managed to gleek that Ini was really Mimi but I didn't go far enough to think that the reason she had to do it was because otherwise Maya would be trying to channel someone who was alive.

Same with me, the first time I played this case. I was really wondering the same thing you were about Dr. Grey--why the heck did he think it was a good idea to ask "Ini" about channeling her sister? Guh.

I loved Turnabout Big Top, mainly for the reasons you mentioned about its depth.

I really don't understand all the hate for the -3 cases. Sure some of them are excessively silly, but that's the reason we like these games! At least they're well plotted, compared to a few of the other cases that people seem to like much more. (Like 2-2)

It's really twisted and sad, but very in character for Phoenix. He's just living in this pristine silly little dream world where everything is awesome... >| RAWR

I figured that with Grey taking advice from Ini, one of several things must have happened: Either Grey asked thinking she held little malice, or Grey was off in his world where everything has to go his way so much that he forgot that Mimi had a sister until later. (I would have said that Ini gave the idea to begin with, but that would contradict the whole motive to kill him in the first place outside of revenge)

In any case, it does add another reason why he bought a gun a couple of days before the channeling: That he not only he didn't trust all of this channeling hoo-hah, but he certainly didn't trust the sister of the nurse he was supposed to make sign some admission of guilt.

(God, Screw you Ini/Mimi, you killed the only cool victim.)

Oh you~

Yeah, Grey.... I agree that he probably wasn't even paying attention to the fact that 'Ini' was Mimi's sister, and all. That explanation for the gun makes sense.

Also I don't know how cool he is, but he was certainly a character. And that image of him shooting from the floor all covered with blood with his glasses askew was REALLY badass.

I kind of question the morality of telling Regina Bat will wake up when Moe has pretty much out and out told you that he is brain dead and never coming back.

Oh, is that what you're supposed to present? I showed her her daddy's profile one time, and his corpse another-- I upset her either way. I figured I just couldn't win. XD My reasoning was that the only thing that cooled Acro off was murdering the wrong person, so....

And yes, the multiple choices in this are hilarious! Pain DOES equal bad... but you have to press on anyhow. 0_0
