Yeah, and I can understand that to a degree. But I've been friends with her for five or six years now and I've never really been able to help her as much as I did the first year we were friends. When we first got to know each other, I really helped her be a little more outgoing and to love herself a little more. But ever since high school ended we've both been so busy and she doesn't call me as much as she used to. =/ Maybe I'm not useless, but I think I feel more helpless in this situation than in any other.
Thanks though. Your comments and advice are welcomed and appreciated. :3
Hmm, I'm not quite sure what to say about your friend.. it's always hard when shitty things happen to your friends and you're totally powerless to help them.. but we've had this conversation before.
I heard about that tornado today, it's one thing to hear it on the news, and entirely another when someone you know is actually affected by it. I'm glad their safe and didn't incur too much damage from it.
About you and Eric moving out, that is absolutely awesome to hear. You two have been stuck in limbo for a while, and I'm glad you're making plans to get on with the next phase of your life together. And good luck with that, I've heard of a lot of couples who did just fine until they lived together, but I'm sure you two will do just fine.
It really does feel good to get your life together, eh?
Randomly enough those tornadoes went through an area not to far from where my grandparents live. It think the nearest it got to them was maybe 3 miles away, but still, in a tornado situation, that's not too far. And here I thought the only time I needed to worry about them was in hurricane season. I only found out about the whole thing last night when I checked messages on my phone. My mom'd left a message telling me not to worry. I of course hadn't heard a thing about it in any way. I then preceded to worry for about 2 minutes until she'd explained everything. So I guess it was a close call in more ways than one.
Good luck with the apartment and moving out thing. I'm sure you will, but I'll say it anyways: be careful before you sign the agreement to understand everything that it says. I don't want you getting caught in some stupid loophole or kicked out later for no good reason. I'm sure you'll be fine though.
Living together is fun.. me and my fiance have been living together for 5 years. I moved out on my own with him when I was 16.
Out of all other relationships i hear of, we beat the odds by staying together from when i was 16 and we live together just fine.
It's fun, you get to see them every morning, you can have fun romantic showers together, and make love and cuddle every night.... *sigh*... I love ren.. yay for living together
That's what I've been dreaming of forever and a day. The only thing that has always stopped us is money and Eric is SO CLOSE to finishing school and getting a degree. I won't stop him from getting that because it's an important thing for him to have. Especially since I'm not going to finish and get a degree at all.
Optician apprenticeship around the corner I hope! *Adds Sakura to friends list* <3 <3
