This was awkward. It really shouldn't have been...but it was. They were brothers, after all. But that was why it was so weird. Because they were brothers. But this had been Tommy's idea. A request, or rather, an idea, that he'd shared with Billy when giving him a Christmas present

Tommy wanted to get to know him, and Billy had to admit, he wanted to get to know his other family better as well. He'd been reclusive for some time courtesy of the nightmares...but he was getting better slowly but surely. He'd appreciated Nate's thoughtful gift. A dreamcatcher was more symbolic than anything else, but it felt like the nightmares had lessened even more after being given that present.

The only difficult part was figuring out exactly what to say in a little get to know you moment. Saying something and getting a conversation rolling was probably a good start, though.

"So, how's living at Avengers' mansion?" he inquired. Not necessarily the best question to start off with...but Billy hadn't had that experience yet. He'd visited, but not lived there.

"It's kind of nice, actually," Tommy said, fidgeting with his fingers. "I mean, you know, what with Jarvis and stuff. Cap and Falcon can be total hardasses, but having Danny there...it helps a lot." He smiles softly. "Though Catseye doesn't come over so much because of Tigra." He nods. "It's, umm, nicer. Than New Jersey." He looks at Billy. "How's...umm...how's, ah, Teddy?"

"His threshold for putting up with my personal issues in the past year has been nothing short of saintly," said Billy. "He's wonderful. We'e even been making an effort to just go on dates...well, if they get interrupted by criminals, nothing we can do about that. Such is the life of a Young Avenger."

He'd spent months after the incident with Cthon mostly locking himself in his room. He went to school, came home, called Teddy, did his homework, and attempted to get some sleep amidst the nightmares. They decreased with time, but they'd never fully gone away.

Tommy chuckled. "I know. That's happened when I hang out with Danny. Or, you know, go out with Catseye. Which I need to do more." He shrugged. "I don't get to see her often enough," he smiles. "I'm working on that. Seeing people. Socializing more." He turned to look at Billy. "Especially with you. And Scarlet Witch. I haven't...done right by you guys."
