Nita doesn't generally check astronomy news, but this news catches her eye.

And she's worried.

Nova's out there somewhere. And he thinks... terrible things about her. Things she deserves.

And he never sent back the message he promised. He never checked in.

What if he's gone? What if he died? What if she never got the chance to actually tell him that she loved him?

She spends the entire evening watching the skies for any sign of Nova returning to Earth.

Vance had taken to reading the papers when he was in the Vault. It had been a good way to keep up with what was going on on the outside. Better than e-mail, sometimes. His friends didn't want to worry him. The papers had no such compunction.

He makes note of the Ford situation, a reminder that he needs to make arrangements with Xavier's to be allowed to visit. Then the astronomy article catches his eye.

It's not a given that it's anything Rich is involved in. It doesn't even say where in the sky it is, so there's no telling if it's near Shi'Ar space or Xandarian space or somewhere completely different.

Not that it matters because that's Vance's friend and teammate up there. And any talk of disappearing planets and suns going supernova is a reason to worry when there isn't any news.

He starts checking the sky more often at night. Just in case.

Natasha read the paper while she enjoyed her morning coffee. She had just gotten back from a mission the night before and didn't know what was going on outside of the trouble she just stirred up.

Nothing surprised her.

Kevin sunk deeper into the couch in the rec room.

His lower lip wibbled.

Make it stop! Make it stop!
