Funny, he managed to figure out that they were spying on him, but seemed to take no precautions from him spying on them. Or maybe they wanted him to hear. He was willing to bet it was carelessness on their part, though.

Either way, he heard the call, like he managed to hear all of their transmissions. This time, though,

Kate reacted instantly.

Eat EMP arrow, Nate.

Mmm... tasty.

He made no effort to dodge, and let himself get hit. The armor was rendered powerless, and Nate quite calmly took off his helmet. He had no intentions of fighting them right now... this was... something different.

He glanced down at at the arrow that was stuck on the Armor's chest, then gave something of a dull look as he plucked it off.

"Come now, Kate, the same trick thrice?"

He shook his head, seemingly disappointed.

"But I guess this means you have my attention for the next three minutes. Hope you kept that tea warm for me." Actually, thanks to a few improvements, he'd be back online in just under thirty seconds. Not that they needed to know.

"Great, asshat alert. What the hell do you want, Bionic Boy?" Tommy crosses his arms and instinctively steps up ahead of his team. His eyes are narrowed and his mouth is set in a grim, cold line. There's a crackle of energy around him. Molecules in the air around him, moving faster.

He is NOT pleased to see Nate.

Teddy's eyes were also locked on Nate, although he abstained from commentary for the moment. Nate didn't look that much older than he had when he'd formed the team -- could he have really changed enough in that time that he was able to commit cold-blooded murder? He couldn't have become Kang the Conqueror so quickly, could he?

This was not a fight that Teddy had been looking forward to.
