The Silver Saucer hovers over Greenwich Village, invisible, undetectable. Bob Grayson turns to the New Warriors.
"I believe this is where you get off. I can't send you directly to his house, but to an alley nearby. Good luck."
He turns to Namora, gives her a silent nod, then takes his leave.

"I... I'm sorry, mom. I have to go."

He really is.
But, despite leaning against the alley wall, crossing his arms, and appearing to be entierly lost in his own thoughts, Namorita might feel brief, protective glances over her shoulder. She might know him well enough to realize that if he wanted to pry, he'd just walk up and pry, and the attempt at discresion is because Dwayne's uncomfortable with the idea of just being worried about someone. Or not.
Either way, the Night Thrasher waits.

She holds herself in her most regal bearing.
She won't break. She won't.

Because sometimes she needed to stand tall on her own, and needed not to break, and he wasn't sure if something he did would make it harder for her not to.
So he said nothing, just came up behind her and briefly brushed a hand against her shoulder, looking back as the light from the Silver Saucer that had beamed them all down faded, and the ship zoomed off into the air, a steak of brilliance that disappeared over the New York skyline.
Hopefully, that little touch did two things--make it clear he thought she was strong enough to stand on her own, but also just...let her know he was there.
They all were.

As they walk into the main chamber, they are greeted by the owner of the establishment. "Welcome. Thank you for coming so quickly."

As was quite obvious by how bedraggled the entire team looked. Limping, battered, most of their uniforms battle-damaged to some extent...
They looked like they'd just fought a war.

He leads them into a larger, more ornate room. For those that may have never been there before, it almost feels like they're walking through a space much larger than the house seems outside. "There's a very apparent 'tether', of sorts, that seems to be connecting you to your home universe. If my suspicions are correct, it shouldn't be overly hard to get you home."
