Not that it ever stops him from getting a cup every once in awhile.
Tommy leans forward on the table, brushing his white-blonde hair out of his eyes as she reads the paper with interest.
Henh. No prisoners escaped.
The press really needs to work on doing their homework.

Everybody deserves a chance or two though, so Teddy went ahead and placed the call. Besides, it'd be good to check in with him, and make sure everything was going well.

"Hey, it's Ted," he said, a little awkwardly, but inviting, "Did'ja get a chance to see the Bugle yet?"

Stereo? Check.
Lights and a disco ball? Check.
Punch, not spiked? Check.
A gigantic magic'd banner praising the "Young Avengers?" Check.
The front page of the Daily Bugle magically blown up and pasted on a wall? Check.
This will be the greatest teen-superhero party in the history of teen-superhero parties.
Bring your own costume.

Is that what they're gonna call this place?
Coz, wow. Lame.
Tommy runs a hand through his silky white-blonde hair before throwing open the doors and walking in.
He sort of hopes that Kate Bishop's gonna be there.

It's not that he doesn't like Tommy. For a potential criminal, he's pretty cool.
It's just that he's like a mirror with highlights. White-blondish-highlights.
It doesn't last too long, though, before he's all smiles and celebrations again.
"Speed! You made it! Awesome!"

For a split second, he thought Billy meant the drug. Not that Tommy did drugs, but yeah. He'd had some friends who dabbled in it for awhile.
He looks Billy up and down. It's eerie. The guy could be a mirror image of Tommy's. You know, with darker hair and a better haircut?
"Hey," Tommy says, nodding at Billy. "I like what you've done with the place. It's very Studio 54 meets Mile High Comics." He's only a little sarcastic.

He still wants to keep it. His family has waited too long for recognition. For now, he's stuffed it in his pocket and is going to...meet someone so he can keep this up. Then his cell rings halfway there.
"Eli."

"I was just calling to see if you were busy tonight. Billy's throwing a party down at the warehouse to celebrate the...," it had just struck him that Eli might not have seen the article.
"Oh! Hey, did you see the article on us in the Bugle today?" He tried not to sound too eager.

Teddy's been mostly quiet for this whole thing, so it's time to liven it up.
There's pizza and punch shoved in the blonde's face and a smile on his boyfriend's.

He gets a one-armed, around the waist hug, and a peck on the cheek before tall, fair, and green takes the punch. He's not really hungry enough for pizza's just now. "Hey, hon," he flashes a perfect, white smile at billy, "I like what you've done with the place."

"I was channeling my inner Mizrahi. Except for the part where I'm much, much cuter."

"You wanna dance, maybe?" They hadn't had much time together lately, outside of heroing. There were pressures from school, from friends, and the fact that neither of them had come out to their parents yet (about either the YA, or the other thing).

Cassie didn't think she'd ever changed clothes so fast.

"Um... so... you haven't mentioned having a boyfriend or anything."
