Still aboard the Helicarrier...

There was a plan.

Five people on the team, to spread out, do a few sneaky things, then regroup and get the hell out of there.

Silver Sable had some security codes to input. She ran into Dreadnoughts.

Spider-Woman was supposed to spring Nick Fury. She sprung the indefatigable Super-Adaptoid.The Black Cat was just supposed to drop a few simple ( Read more... )

Silver is still in her uniform and still making her way through. Now that there are alarms going off, she can make her way more quickly because everyone is in a hurry to get somewhere. To do whatever it is that people are running around to do. As long as nothing is shooting at her, she's good.

For the moment. There will be shooting later, she's sure.

Agent Worley, who's been at Rhodey's side, helping him worm his way around the monitor systems, is not pleased with the development of alarms.

Expected, sure, but still not happy.

"Son of a bitch, the Doomsday Man?" he blurts as he surveys his own equipment for signs of who triggered the alarm. "Get a sitrep from everybody!"

"Hold on, they're trying to kick me out of the Helicarrier's systems." And from the muttered cursing, they're probably succeeding.

Their exit isn't going nearly so smoothly as Silver's. Walking through the Helicarrier with the most wanted man on their hit list doesn't make for a covert operation. Felicia punches another man in the nose, sending him to the deck, before glancing over to be sure Fury is still with her. Not that she doubts he can take care of himself but he might get eager and just leave her behind.

He's found a cigar somehow, and it's hanging out of his mouth, half-smoked already.

Strapped for war. Rifles slung over his shoulders, three pistols tucked in his belt, two more in his hands.

One shot somehow manages to drop two of the beekeepers behind him.

"Tell me you got Rhodes positioned where he's supposed ta be."

Yes, he's aware of the plan.

"I assume he is. The cameras seemed to be ignoring little dispute in the hallway before catching up with you," Felicia admits, as close as she can get to a yes answer. She kicks another man in the stomach. As he bends over clutching his stomach, she brings up her knee sharply to meet his face.

"Then let's move it. The sooner we regroup, the sooner we can really put the hurt on these yahoos."

Then, a grab of her arm as he reveals a hidden panel in the wall.

"Follow me. Don't lag behind."

After cracking one of his mole troopers in the back of the head with the butt of a rifle, he's snagged a communicator, instantly on the right frequencies.

"Could be a lotta different robot guys," he barks back, the sounds of gunfire preetty near. "Gimme a name, or at least a color."

Big blue robot. That narrows it down to a few.

"Bring it up to Rhodey's position! He should have some hardware that can slow it down! Regroup and fight as a unit! One on one is suicide!"

Spider-Woman is staring at horror at the thing in front of her - the thing that just moments ago had been Nick Fury.

Or at least something shaped like Nick Fury.

This had better not ruin her chances of being set free from all of this mess.

Jessica pulls out her communicator, getting ready to call for back-up.

It doesn't give her the chance.

Intead, it lashes out, with speed and agility that matches hers, venom blasts firing.

Spider-Woman dodges two of the blasts, but three and four graze her, with a fifth one getting her squarely on the shoulder. Her communicator clatters away from her. Her pheromones won't work on this thing, that's for sure. And considering the fact that it uses venom blasts too, she's going to have to be smart.

Whatever that is.

She tucks and rolls on the ground, going for him and her communicator. If she can bring him down enough to distract him, she can call for help. Or something.

The physical attack doesn't budge him.

The Super-Adaptoid stands firm... and she'll note he's holding a green replica of Mjolnir, and the wings sprout from his head like Thor's helmet.

It doesn't say a word.

It just brings the hammer down at her.
