This is so intriguingly twisted. I really like the characters as you've painted them.
Mirage has such a brutal life and he's finding solace in a feared outcast like Hound. It has a real beauty to it in its words and this has really caught me up in its web.
I like this, really like this. Thank you for writing and sharing. Your talent is so awesome XDD
Ooo, I loved this. It was dark and sad and twisted and beautiful. Reading how broken and beaten Mirage is, how terribly he's been treated and what he's been put through made my stomach twist, but in one of those 'oh my god how terrible, I must read more'.
And Hound is a lot like I imagined him being in the Shattered Glass 'verse, a violent outcast with no interest in even feigning a sociable nature. And that the only things he can find comfort in, and even want to be around, are those too weak to care for themselves, who need him, is a compelling and great touch to his character.
I feel sorry for the first (and probably last) mech foolish enough to test his luck in messing with Mirage after this.
I wanted to keep a certain touch of their 'normal universe/AHM' selves where Mirage is a little of an outcast because he doesn't like fighting and won't readily want to strike on Decepticons just like that, which seems to make him not very liked among certain bots.
And with Hound, I thought he wouldn't necesarily be an all-around all the time voilent and brutish mech, just one that prefers to be left alone, with a very brash and brutal nature but with a hint of kidness in him, even if a little 'twisted'.
I'm glad you liked it, thank you for reading. And yeah, next mech who touches Mirage is goin' to need to be picked by inventory.
