*walks into Hub* *looks around*

"Owen? You here?"

*is in the exam room with a pile of old alien autopsy photos, which he seems to be labeling, a few books, and what at one point may have been a cup of coffee*

*checks her over head-to-toe, pressing a hand against her stomach, checking between her toes etc.* Just one more thing...*grabs what looks like a flashlight, but is actually an alien body-scanner* *turns it on and checks over her torso on various settings, revealing different layers as he shines it a her* *then sets it so he can see her two hearts* Cool.

*waits patiently while he does exam-y stuff*

So, is that it? Find anything unexpected?

*reaches for her clothes and starts putting them back on*

Unusual, but not unexpected. *smiles* *totally forgot she was half-clothed* Uh, right, you get dressed, I'll find...*opens a drawer and sets out the blood-sample stuff* Ah, here we go.

*grimaces at the sight of the blood-sample-taking kit* *finishes getting dressed*

It's funny, even though I'm a doctor I've never liked having blood taken.

I don't think many people like having needles poked into them. *brings the kit over and sits across from her*

Yeah, you're probably right.

*waits for him to get on with it*

[doc_harper]

*finds a vein easily* Tosh knows what she's getting into with me. I wish people would stop warning me that I could hurt her. *attaches a vial and pulls out the needle when it's done*

*nods*

I'll remember that. I guess nobody wants to see either of you get hurt.

*thinks* Hang on.. "people"? Who else, besides me? *is curious now*

[doc_harper]

*sets the vial in an empty stand* *turns back to put a band-aid (with little cartoon aliens on) on her arm* The entire of Torchwood, it seems.

*smiles sympathetically* Well, sorry, for what it's worth. I suppose it's really not any of our business, is it?

[doc_harper]

*attaches a label to the vial* I think people assume Tosh is weak because she's quiet, but she's not. ...She's stronger than me in a lot of ways.

*thinks about it, nods*

Yeah... it's the quiet ones who surprise you like that.

*smiles fondly* Yup.

I'm really glad you two are together, you know. I think... I don't know, you complement each other.
