In which I am unimpressed
ironed_orchid and I started watching Life on Mars a little while ago - the original, not the US ripoff. While she likes it, I have to say I am profoundly and utterly bored. The novelty of the whole "ooh, look, it's the 70s" thing wore off pretty quickly for me, the plots are predictable and the pacing painfully slow. So, most of you will have heard of LOLCODE. It's cute, but also kind of lame. C'mon, developing a whole new language with it's own grammar, parser and interpreter, just for a geeky joke? Don't those people have ... err ... jobs and stuff?

- Yesterday morning I decided to hunt down some ancient bond money which had been released three years ago but which I hadn't been able to reclaim on account of living on various continents which are not Europe.
