Shoutout to docbrite, and all the other pre-summer-sickness people suffering unseasonable and annoying maladies.

This comes from my 1906 copy of The Picayune's Creole Cookbook, and might be just the elixir to settle a myriad of woes.

Seems like hitting oneself with a hammer would be quicker, easier, and cheaper.

Hey! Hey, hey, hey! I'm starting to compile LISTS in preparation for a week and a half from now! It's friggin' 80 degrees here, so it must be HELLISH already there!

Love you, however.

LISTS, huh? Should I be anxious?

"Look kids! Big Ben! Parliament! Again."

Weather-wise, it's quite pleasant just at the mo. Last night was cool with vicious thunderstorms cracking and flashing like mad all night long. Made for very happy sleepy-times.

But god knows what's gonna happen in two weeks. So pack your parka and your thong, just in case.

Not lists of things to DO while I'm there! Silly! I leave that all up to YOUUUUU! And, in fact, I'm perfectly happy just sitting around listening to you play CHopin, or watching goofy movies with you. Low-maintenance, that's me. More like "Must get pedicure. Launder the sheets for the cat-sitter. Should I bring the red sandals or the blue? Sweater? If I don't bring one, that should ensure the weather will be in the 60's. Right, then, how 'bout that thong?"

Did y'all ever go to the cattery?

Though I must admit that a real thunderstorm WOULD be awfully nice! Haven't attended one of those in decades!

Hm...leave the egg whites and warm it up a bit and you'll have a fine zabaione; I'd eat that every day.

Hmm. Actually, that sounds rather nice.

Oh, you have ruined my satire, damn you.
